CASA Advocates: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Work
A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a specially trained citizen appointed by the Court to advocate for children in cases of abuse and/or neglect. No legal expertise is required. By following these simple steps, you can join the ranks of these very special volunteers:
Step 1: Register and attend a one hour orientation session at the CASA office. Learn about our Mission and Standards. Find out the requirements for becoming an Advocate and have your questions answered by CASA staff.
For your convenience all necessary forms may be downloaded from this site. To expedite the application process, you may bring the completed forms to the orientation session or mail them to the CASA office.
For more information or to speak with our Trainers, please call936- 441-5437 ext. 205 or 206 |
