In Our Community We Are Known

Every day I rely on CASA advocates and their opinions, inside and out of the courtroom. Without exception, they are always willing to share their wishes, thoughts and concerns for each child's interests. While I absolutely respect every advocate and staff member’s apparent knowledge about the children they represent, I have been more impressed with the sincere and heartfelt manner in which Montgomery County CASA’s continuously speak (or shout – if necessary) to accomplish whatever they can for a child. Without CASA, the foster children in this area would be missing their best friend and strongest supporter.

Preston Findlay, Assistant District Attorney, Montgomery County

For over fifteen years, I have worked with one of the finest service organizations in the State of Texas and the United States, Court Appointed Special Advocates. I have seen the Montgomery County CASA organization grow from a small number of passionate volunteers to the outstanding group that we have today. I have always relied upon CASA's dedication in representing solely the best interests of a child with honesty and impartiality. The determined men and women of CASA protect children through difficult times, and their actions determine the future of physically and mentally abused children.

They are the eyes and ears of the court.

Children who are exposed to violence and hatred become violent and hateful. It is our responsibility to stop the cycle of violence and to bring peace and love to those who are helpless.

The Honorable Judge Fred Edwards

As an attorney for abused an neglected children, I long for a world where every child has an advocate - or better still - a world where children don't need advocates; until that day dawns, give my child/client and me a CASA Child Advocate of Montgomery County, and we have a microcosm of that for which we dream and toward which we work.
